Sinkhole in Toledo Ohio

Another sinkhole….. A sinkhole in Toledo Ohio swallowed a car that was driving down the street.  The driver was able to climb out with a ladder that was put in by authorities.  According to police Sgt. Joe Heffernan, a water main break beneath the road could’ve cause the sinkhole on Wednesday.  They estimate that the hole is at least 10 feet deep.

President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984.  And, the third Sunday of the month is National Ice Cream Day.  He felt that ice cream was a fun and nutritious food and learned that 90 percent of the nation’s population enjoyed it.   In the proclamation, he called for all people of the US to observe events associated with National Ice Cream Month or day with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.”
